"For people without disabilities, technology makes things easier. For people with disabilities, technology makes things possible.”

Mary Pat Radabaugh

Assistive Technology (AT) is any tool that helps students with disabilities complete a task more quickly, easily or independently.Teachers and Therapists have always worked to provide alternative ways of learning for students and with the recent arrival of technologies in classrooms students can now be provided with multiple means to complete their work and focus on achieving academic standards.  Assistive technology can provide accommodations, modifications or adaptations made to the environment, curriculum, instruction, or assessment practices.
